Route: A Walk from Wauldby
Area: East Yorkshire
Date of walk: 29th October 2013
Walkers: Andrew
Distance: 7.7 miles
Ascent: 700 feet
Starting from Wauldby Green, where I used to go tobaganning as a child, I walked along the side of Nut Wood and joined the Yorkshire Wolds Way for a short distance
Above Brantingham, there were huge views over the Humber and the Vale of York
I descended into Elloughton Dale, then climbed up onto the Wolds again, where I had views of the Humber Bridge and the city of Hull
The rest of the walk was across chalk farmland, until I arrived back at Nut Wood where I walked alongside the attractive (but unattractively named) Wauldby Scrogs back to the car
It had been an enjoyable afternoon ramble
