Route: Hallin Fell
Area: Far Eastern Lake District
Date of walk: 24th February 2013
Walkers: Andrew
Distance: 1.9 miles
Ascent: 800 feet
I parked on the road to Martindale, just after Howtown. I was en route home from Millbeck.
It was a short climb to the top and when I got there, there was a crowd scene (the photos don’t show this), so without lingering I went down the north flank of the fell to return to my car
There were lovely views of Ullswater and the surrounding fells
