Route: The Bridestones
Area: North York Moors

Distance: 5.4 miles
Ascent: 600 feet
From our base at Derwent View Hackness we drove 8 miles via Langdale and Dalby Forest and parked at the Bridestones car park. It was a short walk to the Low Bride Stones, and we made a detour to see the High Bride Stones too.
We then walked across open moorland, fields and woods to return to the car.
The weather was mixed – some sunshine, some rain, and plenty of wind.

There are two groups of these sandstone rocks - the Low Bridestones and the High - this is in the Low group
