After this morning’s wonderful walk in the Tannberg region, and a swim in the forest pool near Lech, there was still time for another short walk – we wanted to make the most of the glorious weather on offer
We returned to our base at the Hotel Burg in Oberlech from there walked over to the adjacent Petersboden chair lift. This whisked us up to a height of around 6,500 feet in no time at all. The views from the top were wonderful
The walk back to the hotel was as easy as it gets, being gently downhill all the way on well maintained paths
As with this morning’s walk, the wild flowers in the meadows were a particular highlight, it was a spectacular display and we were glad we’d timed our visit to see them at their best
